just finished

i've just finished reading Provance -the comics by Nicky Lee, The One's author. Two love stories about owners of teashop in Taipei. It had been drawn before The One series started and you can see it ;) I mean - recent chaps of The One, when it comes to art, are masterpieces to me. I love the way author uses photographs as a background. It looks sooo good ^^ Well, in Provance it is also used:)



What about storyline:
first story is about handsome guy - Hayes; girls fall in love with him immediately; however,  he is strangely cold towards them. There's a girl - Yune, who is also fascinated by him but she has no hope that he'll return his feelings... Especially after another bishie showed up and stole Hayes's kiss...
my thoughts: i love both characters, but the whole story is cold. I can't understand how it happens they relationship is getting deeper. In Yune there's really nothing special. And why Hayes is so composed? Guess, I just wanna know them better :P


second story is about Hayes's sister - Hayumi. She have known Alan since he was 3 and always treated as an younger brother. After 8 years in Australia he came back to Taipei and proposed to Hayumi. Is she able to look at him as at a man? Who does she really loves: him, or a super-handsome, super-popular, super-rich artist?
my thoughts: I prefer YuneXHayes story!!! Difficult to say why :P Maybe they just look better :P Anyway, superhandsome artist looks totally like Eros from 'the one' while he is working^^


sooo... if you can't stop thinking about next 'the one' release (raw scans are in the net^^), just read it. If you're are bored with Hwang Mi Ri way of drawing, just read it :P it is nothing special, but pretty nothing special :)
